Loggerhead Marinelife Centers TurtleFest 2026: Science, Sea Turtles, and Fun!

February 4, 2026

On the shores of Juno Beach, Florida, a dedicated team of scientists, veterinarians, and volunteers works tirelessly to protect some of the ocean’s most ancient residents: Sea Turtles. For more than three decades, the Loggerhead Marinelife Center (LMC) has been a center for research, rehabilitation, education, and conservation. At the heart of LMC’s mission is its world-class Sea Turtle hospital, where injured and sick turtles receive expert care, with the ultimate goal of returning them to the ocean as soon as they are ready.

But LMC’s impact goes far beyond its hospital walls. Biologists and educators work year-round to monitor nesting beaches, conduct research that informs global conservation strategies, and educate people of all ages through hands-on programs and immersive experiences.

That’s why each year Loggerhead Marinelife Center invites the community to celebrate their vital work at TurtleFest, a lively, free-admission festival that blends fun with purpose. On February 21–22, 2026, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. at Loggerhead Park in Juno Beach, thousands of guests will gather for the 21st Annual TurtleFest, an event dedicated to ocean conservation, marine life education, and family-friendly fun!
TurtleFest is more than a festival — it’s a doorway into the world of marine science and environmental stewardship. Attendees can explore interactive educational exhibits, meet sea turtle patients receiving care, and engage with conservation partners who share practical tips on protecting our oceans. From live music and local art to delicious food and hands-on kid activities like the Junior Veterinary Lab, the celebratory atmosphere that welcomes all ages.

Be sure to check out TurtleFest on February 21-22 2026 to enjoy a free and festive celebration, focused on raising awareness of environmental conservation, and of course, Sea Turtles!
